Dr. Hunter Tippett joined Payne & King, PLLC as an Associate Dentist, providing comprehensive dental care alongside Dr. Payne and Dr. King. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine after completing her Bachelor of Science at Hardin-Simmons University.
Dr. Tippett was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Implant Dentistry, an honor reflecting excellence both clinically and academically. She is proficient in CAD/CAM dentistry and enjoys incorporating modern dental technology into treatment to provide precise, efficient, and patient-centered care. Her clinical interests include restorative and cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, preventive care, and ClearCorrect orthodontic treatment.
Service has also been an important part of Dr. Tippett’s dental career. She earned a Certificate in Community Health in Dental Medicine and volunteers with Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM), providing dental care to underserved and vulnerable populations. These experiences have strengthened her belief that quality dentistry begins with understanding the individual patient, not simply treating a tooth.
Dr. Tippett takes a thoughtful and approachable style to patient care. She values taking the time to listen to her patients, explain their options clearly, and develop treatment plans that balance oral health, function, and aesthetics. Whether restoring a tooth, improving a smile, or helping a patient maintain their oral health, her goal is to provide care patients can feel comfortable and confident receiving.
Away from the office, Dr. Tippett is happiest exploring somewhere new, whether that means traveling to a new destination or finding a great local coffee shop. She loves a good thriller novel, has a soft spot for her big orange cat, Frank, and considers finding an unexpectedly great coupon deal a talent of its own. She values time spent with the people and places that make life interesting and brings that same curiosity and enthusiasm into the relationships she builds with her patients.
